Launch-day availability of the Radeon HD 5870 is bad, but the Radeon HD 5850 is frankly worse. Once again, we're struggling to find a card in stock, and many retailers don't have any 5850 products listed at all.
Despite the lack of availability, however, pre-order pricing is keen. Radeon HD 5850 cards can be found for just under the expected retail price of £220 in the UK, and under €250 in Europe.
