Intel provides a look inside its Arizona fabrication plant

We usually try to steer clear of corporate-gloating video clips, but Intel's "What It Takes To Build A FAB" is actually pretty cool - and let's face it, not many companies can plan on investing around $7 billion in creating new facilities in the coming years.

The following clip showcases Intel's sixth 300mm wafer facility, FAB 32 - located in Arizona. Costing $3 billion to create, the factory opened in October 2007 and houses more than 1,000 employees.

Intresting to see them put in a clip of someone playing on a DS and someone listening to an iPod. Are they trying to convince us their chips are in those products :P
Really cool stuff. It never ceases to amaze me that photolitography is even possible at those resolutions.
