WD's popular My Book Live home network drive is now available in a 3 terabyte capacity.  Also available in 1 TB and 2 TB capacities, the My Book Live network drive enables users to easily and securely centralise, share, and stream digital content at home, as well as access any file on the drive from anywhere in the world using an Internet-enabled PC or Mac.

My Book Live 3 TB home network drive incorporates the latest processor technology to deliver transfer speeds up to 100 MBps, roughly triple the speed of traditional USB 2.0 drives and double the speeds of other network drives in its class.

Its built-in media server allows users to stream content stored on any computer on the home (or office) network to their big screen TV using any DLNA®-certified multimedia device such as WD TV Live Hub media center, Blu-ray DiscTM player, and Xbox 360® and PlayStation® 3 game consoles. Users can also play music and videos stored on their drive in iTunes®, as well as view their digital photos on their iPhone®, iPod touch®, iPadTM, and Android smartphones with the swipe of a finger through the included WD PhotosTM application.
