SAN JOSE, CA-August 24, 2010-OCZ Technology Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:OCZ),a leading provider of high-performance solid-state drives (SSDs) and memory modules for computing devices and systems, is pleased to announce that the Company's Enterprise SSD solutions are now qualified within Silicon Graphics International (SGI) supercomputing solutions and RackableTM Servers. The qualification designates OCZ as an official supplier and allows OCZ to begin selling its high-performance SSDs for integration into SGI's cutting-edge products.

OCZ enterprise SSDs offer SGI's clients a way to overcome the performance, reliability and maintenance obstacles inherent in traditional mechanical HDD storage. OCZ enterprise-grade SSDs were selected for use in SGI's OctaneTM III desk-side supercomputers targeted at strategic science, research, development and visualization challenges which require a system that keeps pace with intensive workloads and multitasking. OCZ drives will also be offered in select Rackable Rackmount servers and other SGI InfiniteStorage configurations for commercialized storage and data centers, adding flexibility for SGI's customers when choosing an ideal SSD configuration.
