Amsterdam, 7 May 2013 - Display specialist AOC presents yet another highly competitive Full HD monitor. The e2461Fwh features a 59.9 cm (23.6″) TN panel with a pixel response time of only two milliseconds. Boasting an elegant design including an ultra-narrow bezel and a stand in cherry red, this LED-backlit display - first presented at this year's CeBIT - is a perfect choice for price-conscious gaming and home entertainment enthusiasts.
Carefully calculated technology
With a luminosity of 250 cd/m² and a static contrast of 1,000:1 (dynamic contrast: 50,000,000:1), this Style line monitor delivers brillant images on its large 59.9 cm (23.6") widescreen. The ultra-short response time of two milliseconds allows for fluid and clear imaging even in the most action-packed sequences. This Full HD model handles analogue and digital signals from standard home and office applications as well as the latest movies and games via VGA and HDCP-compatible HDMI.
Intelligent design
The elegant and almost borderless casing is only 13 mm thick. Home users and gamers with aesthetic sensibility will enjoy the touch of class that the appearance of this stylish ultra-slim monitor adds to their desks. The dual-function stand with the cherry red border not only looks good, but also offers height adjustability, as it can be detached and the e2461Fwh thus be positioned directly on the desk like a super-sized picture frame. The display can also be wallmounted (75 mm VESA standard).
Energy-efficient
AOC has equipped the e2461Fwh with various clever software solutions. The Eco Mode and e-Saver programs help to decrease energy consumption by adapting the LED backlights' output to the ambient light. i-Menu allows for the monitor settings to be conveniently changed via the mouse, while the Screen+ software divides the 59.9 cm (23.6″) desktop into different practical panes, which are accessible through shortcuts. Latest LED backlight technology stands for a well-balanced luminosity as well as for massively reduced energy consumption (17.3 watts only in standard operation).
