Sapphire Technology, the world’s leading supplier of ATI based graphics cards and PC motherboards is showing the latest in its high performance products for OEMs and end users, including some exciting new technology developments, at the CeBit 2005 Exhibition in Hanover, Germany from March 10th to 16th.

Highest graphics performance yet!

Based on the award winning X800 architecture from ATI, a host of new models are becoming available from Sapphire. Products offering the highest performance are based on ATI’s top o the range X850 visual processing unit (VPU). With its 16 parallel pixel pipelines and six vertex pipes this exciting VPU allows Sapphire to introduce a choice of models with high speed memory and fast core clock speeds setting new world-beating standards in performance for high end, high definition gaming. At the same time, Sapphire has announced that it will introduce additional family members in its Radeon X800 family offering a wider choice of value whilst retaining high levels of gaming and video performance.

NEW introductions in The Ultimate Series!

The Ultimate Edition is Sapphire’s name for its special versions of ATI-based graphics solutions designed for silent and efficient operation. Instead of the usual noisy fan, products in the Ultimate Edition series feature special cooling solutions from ZALMAN. The new X800XL Ultimate Edition is the latest addition to this family brining unrivalled levels of performance in its price range.

TOXIC continues to inspire in PCI Express!

Building on the success of its Hybrid X700 series, the new Sapphire TOXIC X700 Pro adds a new dimension to the balance between performance and affordability! Incorporating the latest PCI Express graphics technology from ATI, the TOXIC X700 Pro adds Sapphire’s advanced Lethal cooling solution and APE Advanced Performance Enhancer overclocking software to deliver top performance for the enthusiast.

New Generation motherboards offer PCI Express and a choice of Processor – with or without Integrated graphics!

Sapphire is now introducing a whole new generation of PCI Express motherboards based on the latest chipsets from ATI and enabling the range to support the wider choice of Athlon 64 Socket 939 processors as well as Intel Socket 478 and Socket 775. Fully featured with SATA as well as ATA interfaces, USB2, LAN and Firewire options, these motherboards come with a further choice between integrated graphics or not, appealing to system builders and enthusiasts alike.

On the PCI Express – but not forgetting legacy AGP systems!

Sapphire is aware of the huge installed base of AGP based motherboards, and not only will continue to support these systems with existing graphics solutions like the highly successful Sapphire Atlantis 9800Pro but will soon be announcing exciting new ATI-based AGP solutions with astounding new levels of performance.

Specials @ Cebit!

In addition to new hardware models at CeBIT, Sapphire will announce some exciting software developments for performance enthusiasts – a brand new overclocking tool, to be known as TRIXX - and a new way to deliver bundled games with its latest graphics cards. DVD Choice is a new concept where the bundled DVD will contain several top quality games from the likes of UBISOFT, CDV, SCI and THQ – and the end user will decide which of the titles to enable – avoiding the situation where a standard bundle contains only games they already own!
