LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM-May 7, 2003-AMD (NYSE: AMD) today announced that the UK magazine Computer Trade Shopper (CTS) has named AMD the "Best Processor Manufacturer" for 2003. For the second consecutive year, CTS readers have recognized AMD's leadership and manufacturing excellence.
"Our readers have once again shown their support for the company which enables them to build the highest performing PC systems," said Paul Kunert editor of Computer Trade Shopper. "For the past two years AMD has proven to be a leader in the PC processor market by providing high performance, reliability, and good value."
