New Vapor-X Graphics
Following the recent announcement of the limited edition HD 4890 ATOMIC Edition – the first card to deliver a 1GHz engine clock – SAPPHIRE now offers the HD 4890 TOXIC Edition to the global market based on the same high performance components and Vapor-X cooling. The TOXIC Edition is overclocked to 960MHz core, 1050MHz memory for stunning performance straight out of the box.  In addition, SAPPHIRE is introducing the HD 4890 Vapor-X model, a SAPPHIRE original design offering near silent operation and for the first time providing Display Port as well as HDMI, VGA and dual-link DVI connectors all on the rear bracket.

SAPPHIRE was the first company to introduce Vapor Chamber Technology to its cooling solutions with its Vapor-X cooler first seen on the HD 3870 ATOMIC and TOXIC editions last year and now in volume production on the HD 4870 512MB and 1GB TOXIC Editions as well as the successful Vapor-X series.

HD 4770 to offer great ‘bang for the buck’
For gamers on a budget, the new SAPPHIRE HD 4770 series based on the world’s first 40nm GPU promises to give great performance at breakthrough price points. In addition to the standard model, SAPPHIRE is previewing two new models -  the HD 4770 ULTIMATE, using heatpipe cooling for totally silent operation, and the HD 4770 Vapor-X model – a new addition to the Vapor-X series which already includes HD 4850 and HD 4870 models featuring quiet and cool operation.

All SAPPHIRE HD 4000 series graphics cards are Microsoft Windows Vista™ Premium certified and supported by the ATI Catalyst® suite of software, ensuring customers have ongoing access to software updates for performance, stability and added features. Like the previous generation, these cards support DirectX10.1 for enhanced rendering performance and lighting effects.
