The ”Starfi” works in conjunction with the Global WIN “Jefi” water cooling solution and be available in August 2004

Taipei, Taiwan, 31st July 2004 – Global WIN, a leading specialist in thermal conductivity and heat dissipation, announced that the new “Starfi” VGA cooling solution will be available in August this year. The “Starfi” is designed to work in conjunction with the recently announced Global WIN “Jefi” CPU water cooling system and can be easily integrated into an existing “Jefi” installation. The patented anti-slip tube junction design ensures no water leakage.

The low profile and light “Starfi” water block has been specifically designed for VGA cards and works with all current GPUs (graphical processor units) up to the Radeon 9800XT and GeForce 5950 using a universal clip. The patented water channel design provides zero water resistance eliminating junctions with sharp bends, typically found in other less efficient water cooling designs.. This free flowing design maximizes the cooling effect so that the users can enjoy their highly-demanding computer games uninterrupted.

The “Starfi” is named after the starfish sea creature, continuing Global WIN’s fun and exciting naming convention using the theme of the sea. The new product shapes, colourful packaging, and easy-to-remember names, makes the Starfi VGA cooling solution instantly distinguishable from competitors’ products.
