Star Wars, Crysis and Spore

Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise

Platforms: Xbox 360

Release date: Sept 2 (NA), Sept 11 (EUR)

Rare's tropical follow-up to its popular Viva Piñata will be an Xbox 360 exclusive. Once again players still build and maintain piñata gardens - using their creativity and imagination to attract, trap, protect, train and manage more than 100 different piñata species. No doubt it will be insanely addictive.

Spore

Platforms: PC

Release date: Sept 5 (EU), Sept 7 (NA, NP)

You've been hands on with the Creature Creator and now it's time to let them loose in Will Wright's creation, an epic journey that takes you from the origin and evolution of life through the development of civilization and technology and eventually all the way into the deepest reaches of outer space.

Midnight Club: Los Angeles

Platforms: Xbox 360, PS3

Release date: 9 Sept (NA), 12 Sept (EU)

The fourth iteration of Rockstar's street racing franchise promises to set the standard of what an open-world racing game can achieve. With no load times, no tracks, and no rules, the game allows players to race who they want, when they want, and where they want in an accurate recreation of Los Angeles.

Crysis Warhead

Platforms: PC

Release date: Sept 12 (EU), Sept 16 (NA)

We're expecting some special again for the Crytek guys following the epic Crysis. This latest story runs parallel to the first and will feature  fully customizable weapons and new vehicles. Following further optimization of CryEngine 2 we're also expecting it to perform better on our PC.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

Platforms: PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, PS2, PSP, DS, iPhone, iPod Touch

Release date: Sept 16 (NA), Sept 19 (EU)

In particular we're dying to try out the Wii version and the Wii lightsaber, which we bought months ago. It's going to be a must for Star Wars fans as it will casts players as Darth Vader's "Secret Apprentice" and will unveil new revelations about the Star Wars galaxy. The exclusive Wii duel mode will also allow players to compete head-to-head with their friends to determine the ultimate Jedi Master. Hell yeah!
