Other Xperia handsets

Sony Ericsson also debuted its Neo and Pro Android handsets at the event, which both run Gingerbread.

The Xperia Pro boasts a slide-out keyboard with smart functions to create a fast messaging experience. It has introduced a Type & Send function that eliminates the need to open separate apps for different types of messages.

Designed for business people, it has a set of professional functions such as syncing users' email, calendar and contacts in a secure way and the pre-loaded Office Suite Pro lets consumers view and edit office documents directly on the phone.

Sony Ericsson also launched its ergonomically-designed Xperia Neo handset. It runs Gingerbread with a Reality display with Mobile BRAVIA engine, built-in HDMI and is available in 2 flavours: Blue Gradient, Red and Silver. Here is an image.

T-Mobile has confirmed that it will stock the Xperia Play, Arc and Neo from April but there is no news on the Xperia Pro yet.
