Nick first took a look at Hellgate: London way back in April 2005, but finally the wait is almost over, with a November 2nd release date expected.

We've already covered the RPG/FPS to death, but if you haven't read any of our previous coverage then this should sum up the game up nicely:

Hellgate: London combines the depth of role-playing games and the action of first-person shooter titles, while offering infinite playability with dynamically generated levels, items, enemies and events. The player creates a heroic character, completes quests, and battles through innumerable hordes of demons to advance through experience levels and branching skill paths. A robust, flexible skill and spell system, highly customisable appearances, and a massive variety of randomly generated equipment allow players to create their own unique hero.

Any word on a demo release? I had to skip the beta but I'm curious to know how it plays.
Oh, these are all of those screenshots IGN put up last week.

There's a thread about Hellgate preorders in the Find Me A Bargain section here at Hexus, started by one of our sexiest members… :)
