As Clover Studios closes it's doors next month after releasing it's final videogame, the impressive God Hand on PS2, another studio is born. There was far too much talent to waste at Clover, whose staff included Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami, Devil May Cry boss Hideki Kamiya and the brains behind Viewtiful Joe Atsushi Inaba. The trio have now decided to 'challenge the world of entertainment' once more with the setting up of this new studio where they hope to create some 'preposterously amazing' games.
According to translations of the newly opened 'Seeds' website, the developers made the following statement: "Although we alight upon a different earth, even though the soil is different, our hearts -- closely pursuing the dream of "play" -- have not changed."
The statement continues,"We are currently searching far and wide for people who want to work alongside us. For people who want to build their future. People who are currently making games elsewhere. Would you like to make some preposterously amazing games with us?". .
We've thoroughly enjoyed Clover Studio's last two games, God Hand and the stunning Okami and look forward to seeing further creativity from the trio.
