Trinigy, a market-leading company in the sector of 3D Game Engines, today announced an exclusive preview of its upcoming Vision Engine 6.0 based on next-gen DirectX technology at this year’s Games Convention in Leipzig. Furthermore the company disclosed multiple new licensees of its Vision Game Engine in Europe, Asia and North America.

With the new Vision Engine Trinigy crosses the Rubicon in its long-term and successful history of game middleware business. Vision 6 features a newly developed DirectX-based graphics engine that also paves the way for Microsoft Vista waiting in the wings. The new rendering subsystem is a high-performance technology that provides a wide range of next-gen graphical features out-ofthe- box, such as parallax mapping, dynamic soft shadows and high dynamic range rendering (HDR). Trinigy’s new flagship technology and its components (e.g. a newly created powerful animation system) have also been designed with modularity and easy accessibility in mind.[advert]

With the help of various new modules and enhancements in the upcoming version 6 SDK Vision’s development environment consistently follows the philosophy of WYSIWYG game production: Interactive particle and landscape editing, vast streaming terrains for MMO applications, exporter plugins for 3DS Max 9 and Maya 8 as well as a binding to AGEIA’s PhysX technology are selected examples for the new workflow features.

Furthermore, Trinigy today announced that it has signed deals with a number of new licensees working on various Sports-, Simulation and MMO game titles in Europe, Asia and North America. “We are truly impressed by Vision’s versatility”, says Mark Baxter, Producer at Threewave Software Inc., a renowned development studio based in Vancouver/Canada with which Trinigy recently signed a multi-product licensing agreement.
