Exertis to host vendors at EGX 2017

Basingstoke: 14 September 2017: - Exertis, a leading distributor of technology products for the B2B, mobile and retail markets, has today announced that it will be exhibiting at EGX 2017, the UK’s largest video games event attracting 75,000 attendees. Exertis will host a 63m2 stand in conjunction with Acer, Playseat, Studio Wildcard, Thrustmaster, an Arozzi.

ARK: Survival Evolved is exclusively distributed by Exertis in the UK and is the culmination of two-year’s development in co-operation with its huge fanbase. Since its first week of release, it has already reached number 7 in the GfK top 40 chart track, highlighting its popularity with gamers. Two pods, one for X Box One and the other for PS4 will feature the game, and be watched over by an eight foot dinosaur.

The stand will also showcase the world’s most powerful laptop, the limited edition, Acer Predator 21X, featuring a curved display that provides a truly immersive gaming experience. Big, powerful with dual GTX 1080 graphics cards, backlit keyboard, LED-lit fan, a high-end processor, and a huge and quick SSD array together with 64GB of RAM, it needs to be seen to be believed. Other products on display from Acer will include: the Predator G6, the company’s flagship gaming desktop with the Acer Z35p ultra-wide curved gaming monitor; the mid-range Acer Helios 300 gaming laptops and the Acer Predator Z650 short throw full HD gaming projector.

Thrustmaster, Playseat and Arozzi also feature, combining to show the best racing accessories on the market.  Two Playseat Evolution rigs will give visitors the chance to appreciate the ultra-realistic driving simulation each seat delivers by playing Forza on Xbox and Dirt 4 on Playstation.  A large array of Thrustmaster wheels, shifters and pedal sets, the the latest Playseat Challenge, and Arozzi chairs complete this high-octane stand.

On-line technology and gaming retailer Box Ltd will be Exertis’ partner to process payments at the Birmingham event. EGX 2017 is expected to attract 75,000 visitors over a four-day period (21-24th September). It will provide the first opportunity for gamers to see the new XBox One console prior to general release. Exertis is the exclusive distributor of Xbox in the UK.
