Not just miniature wargames you know...
But it wasn’t just wargames on offer. Looney Labs was there with their ever present Demo bunnies showing off Chrononauts, Fluxx and the rest of the range of card games. Proper role-playing was in evidence as well with BITS offering Traveller for play as well as selling their wares. Chris Loizou was as usual doing best to keep hold of the title of hardest working man in role-playing, pushing products for his fantastic Cursed Empire rpg and it’s new line of miniatures, the new Knights sourcebook is a particularly fine addition to the range. The new Cursed Empire comic that’s coming out soon has even been picked up by Diamond comics for distribution in the states. Cursed Empire was launched just over two years ago at Conception when it was known as Crimson Empire and it is now on it’s second edition despite an enforced name change. If you’re not seeing the Cursed Empire toy range, cartoon series, lunchboxes and cereals in a few years time it won’t be because Chris hasn’t tried hard enough and his product is certainly good enough. At this years Conception, to mark the second anniversary of its launch you could even buy a Cursed Empire beer.
