American civil war re-enactors were recruiting as well as displaying their drills along with some antique period dress. When the missus asked how much it would take to have a costume like the dresses that were on display made it came as bit of a shock to find out that they were over 150 years old. We took more than a passing interest in this due to the Once upon a time in Tombstone Live freeform game later in the year. This along with the sword fighting displays provided a great real life break from the tiny warfare that raged around us. One participant was later seen nursing a bleeding head wound. Damn my camera for not being functional at this point, it was a Kodak moment.
