Singapore Airlines say no sex in the sky

Steve Bleach from Times Online spent some time with Tony and Julie Elwood, the first passengers to to use the double bed suites on Singapore Airlines' Airbus A380. Though I'm pretty sure I know what comes to mind when most couples think about this double suite, it turns out that Singapore Airlines think different.

“If couples used our double beds to engage in inappropriate activity, we would politely ask them to desist” said the company’s Stephen Forshaw.

“There are things that are acceptable on an aircraft and things that aren’t, and the rules for behaviour in our double beds are the same ones that apply throughout the aircraft.”

As you'd expect, the couple themselves weren't entirely impressed. “So they’ll sell you a double bed, and give you privacy and endless champagne — and then say you can’t do what comes naturally?” said Tony.

It's been the goal of many a raunchy passenger to 'engage in inappropriate activitiy' whilst visiting the washrooms for quite some time now, but now it looks like we have a new goal; Can you do it in the double bed suite and get away with it? Clearly we don't encourage such an act here at HEXUS, if sex in the sky isn't your thing, we'd recommend flying Virgin.

So you spend all that money and you aren't allowed to reap your rewards… :o
Just wait until KLM or any other Dutch airlines buy one, probably have half of Amsterdam in the A380 :D
