Speaking at Samsung CES 2007 press conference, Dr David Steel, VP Marketing of Digital Media Business, showcased Samsung's second-generation Blu-ray player, the BD-P1200. This will be available in March and is outfitted with HDMI v1.3 and Ethernet networking capabilities and a new video processor for increased quality. It also supports Samsung's Anynet+, as well.

In addition, Samsung unveiled the K5 player, centre, which adds a world's first by having a slide-out but built-in speaker. To the right is the T9 multimedia player. This supports Flash gaming, music and video playback and , in the future, Bluetooth connectivity for wireless listening.

Some interesting products, then. We'll have more in-depth coverage soon so stay tuned.
