LONDON, UK – 26th March, 2019 – Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. has today announced that the Galaxy Fold will be available in the UK from Samsung Online Shop and Samsung Experience Stores, and via an exclusive operator partnership with EE. Pre-registration will open from 08.00am GMT today for those looking to register their interest and receive the latest updates on this highly-anticipated device.

Introducing a whole new smartphone category, the Galaxy Fold features the world’s first foldable 7.3-inch Dynamic AMOLED Infinity Flex Display, which folds into a compact device when closed, fully protected with a Gorilla Glass 6 finish.

The Galaxy Fold’s App Continuity feature allows intuitive, seamless app transitions between the phone’s cover and the Infinity Flex main display, collaborating with Google to enable an ecosystem of apps that are simple and easy to use. The Galaxy Fold features Samsung’s largest ever smartphone screen, with a Multi-Active Window that allows users to easily multi-task across three open apps at once.

Years of development have resulted in the Galaxy Fold’s breakthrough materials and sophisticated hinging mechanism – making the device flexible and tough, whilst maintaining its elegant design that delivers a book-like fold. The device is available in Space Silver or Cosmos Black via Samsung Online Shop, Samsung Experience Stores and EE. Martian Green and Astro Blue are also available via Samsung Online Shop only, customers purchasing these variants can also select a made-to-order custom colour combination, choosing either a Dark Silver or Gold hinge.
