Technology as a Means of Self-Expression

As consumer technology products continue to change how consumers experience them, so will the way consumers interact with them. Understanding this, Samsung developed its smart mobile devices to be more intuitive, personal and immediately expressive.

Creativity and Productivity Bundled into Galaxy Note II

Featuring a 5.5" (140.9mm) HD Super AMOLED screen, the Galaxy Note II provides a perfect viewing experience with breath-taking visuals and crystal clear detail.

Air View which allows users to hover with the S Pen over an email, S Planner, image gallery or video to preview the content without having to open it. Popup Note lets users open S Note instantly as a pop-up window anywhere on the screen, offering an intuitive, easy multitasking experience.

An Advanced S Pen is longer, thicker and ergonomically designed for the perfect grip. It provides a more precise comfortable, natural writing and drawing experience. The Galaxy Note II also enables unique experiences in personalised and expressive content creation, making it the ultimate smartphone for on-the-go creativity.

Powered by AndroidTM 4.1 Jelly Bean with a 1.6GHz Quad-Core processor, the Galaxy Note II delivers powerful performance in content creation, sharing and multitasking capabilities.

The Galaxy Camera creates a new standard in visual communication device

Samsung ATIV Smart PC, Tab and S - the Next Set of Smart Devices

Cross-category convergence is a key feature for Samsung's new ATIV family. From Notebook PCs to tablets and smartphones, Samsung's finely crafted devices with Windows 8 functionality will increase productivity and offer seamless user experiences.

Samsung ATIV, the new brand for its full range of Windows-based devices, is the reverse of VITA, meaning "life" in Latin - a pledge by Samsung to make everyone's life easier.

In true Samsung fashion, the craftsmanship of these products is not only apparent on the exterior, but also inside of the devices, creating an unparalleled design harmony of product and beauty. The ATIV Smart PC is a leading example of this ethos.

As ahybrid of a tablet and notebook PC, the 11.6-inch Samsung ATIV Smart PC offers the mobility and convenience that comes with a tablet PC, as well as the high-performance that comes with a notebook PC such as full MS Office and Windows 7 compatibility. Combined with a detachable keyboard-docking system, 10-finger multi-touch screen and ultra-sensitive S Pen, the ATIV Smart PC provides a powerful working environment for outstanding mobility and maximum productivity.

Also in the new ATIV family are the ATIV Tab, a Windows RT-powered tablet with the optimisation of a PC experience and mobility, and ATIV S, a smartphone offering a unique Windows Phone 8 experience.

Creating a Network of Your Own with AllShare

Samsung's latest crop of devices is supported by a network of connections that enableconsumers to create and control content. This connected ecosystem is made possible with AllShare, which is comprised of AllShare Play, AllShare Cast and AllShare Control.

  • AllShare Play: access every video, picture, file or owned music track from every Samsung device, including smartphones, tablets, PCs and TVs
  • AllShare Cast: allows content to be mirrored from a Samsung smartphone or tablet, toother displays like a TV or a monitor - all without wires
  • AllShare Control: allows universal control to all devices using a Samsung smartphone

Home Appliances that Understand You and Your Home

As Samsung changes the way consumers connect to content and devices, it is also changing the way consumers utilise their home appliances. The company has introduced revolutionary Space Max refrigerators and ecobubble washing machines that now understand consumers and their home, learning their habits and adjusting to meet their household needs.

For Europe, Samsung understands that European consumers are concerned with rising energy prices, limited kitchen space and the environmental impact of home appliances. With this in mind, Samsung developed a core technology called "Space Max", which offers more capacity within the interior of an appliance while maintaining the same size and dimension of the exterior.

This technology can be found in Samsung's flagship 615-litre Side-by-Side refrigerator, which is responsible for the company's number one position in the category for six years running. Similarly, "Space Max" technology increases Samsung's French Door refrigerator to 520-liter with a 600-millimetre counter depth to easily fit into kitchens. It is also included in Samsung's Bottom-mounted fridge-freezer, a slim and sleek design with a 400-litre capacity.

Samsung's latest ecobubble washing machine is also smarter this year with a revolutionary way to wash clothing and enhance fabric care. The washer is equipped with ecobubbleTM Technology, which guarantees greater washing performance in cold water while remaining gentle on fabric. The technology uses up to 70 percent less energy when washing in cold water, reducing energy and water bills for consumers.
