Having a four-core, eight-thread desktop-class processor is clearly a good thing from a performance perspective. Another reason for the impressive numbers lies with Intel's cooling, enabling the chip to run at a rock-solid 3.9GHz all-core boost speed in our applications.
The numbers aren't that far off a full-on Core i7-7700K desktop chip, to be fair, underscoring the performance prowess on offer. What's more, its multiplier-unlocked status offers some overclocking headroom, too.
