CrystalDiskMark doesn't show the F100's writing ability in as good a light, and the problem lies with the benchmark rather than the drive. But the random 4K test (outstanding I/O depth of 32) hints at a potential 25,900 IOPS throughput, which is considerably higher than SandForce's quoted 10,000 IOPS. It seems as if Corsair is using an SF-1500-like firmware on the F100. We wait with bated breath to see which firmware is shipped with retail drives, but let's explore the IOPS performance further with Iometer.
