Uniformity and Efficiency

Colour uniformity

We consider a colour variance of less than five to be very good. The Philips 272B does well in most areas, though the top-right corner isn't perfect.

Luminance uniformity

Luminance uniformity could also be better, with the top of the panel recording a difference of just over 10 per cent. Do note that this isn't immediately obvious during real-world use, but eagle-eyed users may prefer greater consistency across the display.

There's nothing untoward in the power consumption department, with the Philips screen entering the chart as the most efficient 27in monitor on show.
