Gamut and Colour Accuracy
MSI promises a wide coverage for the colour gamut. The MPG27CQ doesn't disappoint. Its performance is above that usually exhibited by gaming screens and only bested by what we'd term as content creation-specific monitors.
Out-of-the-box colour accuracy is only middling, mind, though through calibration we were able to get it down to a more acceptable 1.28.
These initial numbers show that, irrespective of its potential gaming credentials, the screen is solid for everyday work.
