Presentation, Bundle and Manual

The packaging uses Gigabyte's usual styling for their motherboard products.

Bundle

Gigabyte bundle basically everything you should need cable-wise.

The package contains a couple of SATA cables, three ATA cables and a floppy cable, as well as a two-headed SATA power splitter. On top of this you receive an ATX I/O shield as well as two back plate connectors; one holding extra USB 2.0 and Firewire ports, the other featuring an optical output for the on-board audio capabilities.

It's really nice to see the storage capabilities of the board matched up with a good number of ATA and SATA cables, something all too often neglected in my experience. So, all in all a good bundle.

Gigabyte are comprehensive on the manual and instruction front - Most notably the inclusion of a big, colourful quick installation guide, which basically shows you the location of everything you need to know, which is truly invaluable. Aside from that, three manuals are provided for your cogitation and digestion - One general motherboard manual, another specifically dealing with the board's GigaRAID functionality, and a third covering further general information. More than enough to fill you in on anything you might need to know when installing and configuring the motherboard.
