Bundle and presentation

Chaintech's Zenith ZNF3-250 arrived with a bundle that would impress just about anyone. Staring with the holographic-like box cover and going right on down to providing some thermal goo, it was one of the best we'd seen.

The SK8T800 isn't so overwhelming on first sight. A rather plain box carries on the no-frills theme we've alluded to.

Chaintech's taken the best bits from the chipset and hasn't looked at external controllers.

The sorry picture is the bundle in its entirety. The manual, which is multilanguage and all too brief, isn't the easiest to understand, especially for a novice builder. Chaintech could be forgiven for this oversight if a fuller, more comprehensive CD-based manual was included. It's not, and that's a minus point. There's also no fly brackets to make use of the extra USB2.0 ports. Sure, most cases have a couple integrated which can be hooked up, but we reckon a minimum of 4 should be immediately accessible.
