Bundle, Presentation and Manual
The N2VIEW is much like the PT800TWIN in terms of bundle, presentation and the manuals supplied. The hardware bundle consists of the following.
One ATA133 ribbon with cool rubber grips, one floppy ribbon and the PS/2 splitters for using two keyboards and mice with the system, if you aren't using USB devices.
Another ATA133 ribbon wouldn't have broken the bank and neither would a pair of USB2.0 ports to make use of the header on the board, giving you six in total.
The CD and manuals mirror what you get with the PT800TWIN. The CD contains all the drivers you'll need for the motherboard features, including audio drivers for the Realtek ALC655, chipset drivers for the IGP features and a validated driver for the dual-head VGA core that Jetway knows to work well with MagicTwin. In practice, any recent Detonator driver will work just fine for that feature, but Jetway certify the driver on the CD.
The manuals are hard going to read, translated to English just like the PT800TWIN's and just as poorly. The information is in there, but it's hard to extract at some points. The motherboard manual is the better of the two, the MagicTwin software manual not faring so well. Again, echoing what I found with the PT800TWIN, it's a good job the MagicTwin software is so easy to use.
The box it all comes in is the same as you get with PT800TWIN and the internal plastic clamshell packaging is excellent and a joy to use. It's a shame more manufacturers don't make use of it, probably for cost reasons.
Overall it's nothing special, since the bundle is so light, both hardware and extra software wise, and the manuals are a pain to read in places.
