A quick perusal of the specifications reveal that Firewire support, although present in the chipset, has not been implemented by ABIT, neither has any form of hardware IDE RAID. The extra USB2.0 ports on offer from the Southbridge are conspicuous by their omission. It appears as if the SR7-8X is aimed at the more budget-conscious user.
