The boards with an Intel Core i5 2500K in the socket perform very closely to one another, which is hardly surprising given the level of on-chip integration on the latest processors.

The synthetic numbers don't paint the AMD chip/motherboard in the best possible light, so let's see what happens when we throw a few real-world apps at them.
