This isn't a fair fight, and we know it. The Ryzen 9 3900X, courtesy of more cores and a newer, more potent architecture, stomps all over the Ryzen 7 2700X.

The newer chip will work on X470, but the ideal combination is X570 and Ryzen 3000-series.
