Notes

A fresh install of XP with SP1 was installed on the Raptor attached to the P5AD2. The latest Intel platform drivers were installed for the Alderwood chipset and the NVIDIA graphics drivers were installed following that. DirectX 9.0c, as extracted from a recent SP2 build, was then installed. Far Cry was then installed and tested with patch 1.1, then patch 1.2.

The system was then formatted and reinstalled the same way, using the ATI driver for the X800 XT instead. Testing was carried out identically for both graphics cards.

HEXUS' custom Far Cry benchmark was used for testing (using the Research level) and our own custom scripts were used to automate testing.
