XFX has chosen to keep its dog-related brand imagery mostly hidden on the GeForce 8800 GTX's box. We now affectionately call the XFX dog 'Poochie' here at HEXUS, and were saddened not to see more of Poochie on the packaging for this particular product. Why is Poochie hiding?

No Poochie at all on the back of the box, either. But that girl has quite nice eyes.

XFX always makes a reviewer's life easier by listing the features we should be mentioning in the review on the back of the box. We always recommend keeping your box handy so you can remind yourself of these features, should you need to boast about them on a forum or tell your mum about them.

No surprises awaited us inside the box. We had hoped Poochie would leap out and greet us with a slobbery lick. But instead we found a pair of DVI-VGA dongles, a lengthy S-Video lead, and a component breakout cable.
