Game Performance

Since they're high end boards, we roll out the creaky ol' test suite at 1600x1200 and 1920x1200, with decent levels of AA and AF.

Far Cry

Far Cry

Foxconn don't do anything with clocks, so it matches the other identically clocked 7950 GT without issue, beating 7900 GT by nearly 20% in the process.

Quake 4

Quake 4

The Foxconn runs faster than it should (but repeatably so of course), and we're investigating why since performance should be almost identical to the other 7950 GT, given their matched clocks. We'll let you know. Either way, there's just shy of 20% more performance in a 7950 GT in this test compared to a 7900 GT.

Splinter Cell

Splinter Cell

Performance is back to normal in this test, the 7950 GTs lagging the X1900 XT by some 20%, but beating 7900 GT by 20% too. The reference clocked Foxconn performs as you'd expect, then.
