Remember, we're running the same benchmarks as in our original Radeon X1600 XT review.
Run at 1280x1024 with 4x AA and 8x AF, Far Cry is just about playable on a single HIS X1600 XT IceQ 256MiB card. Performance jumps up by around 45% when another card is added and CrossFire enabled. What's more important is the fact that the game is far smoother and more playable.
The same is largely true at 1600x1200 0x AA and 8x AF. The CrossFire pair offer around 40% extra performance.
