The bundle

What else do you get?

HIS lists all the pertinent features on the box cover. 512MiB of HyperMemory. SM3.0 support, and, of course, a x1 PCIe interface.

HIS includes a multi-language quickstart manual that's only useful for basic installation and troubleshooting. Further, the driver CD features ATI's CATALYST 6.5 set and multi-monitor-supporting Hydravision software, as well as a HIS-branded wallpaper and electronic calendar. There's no detailed electronic manual, however.

A second CD adds in a plethora of software, as shown below:

There's also demos of Half-Life 2, RollerCoaster Tycoon 3, Act of War: Direct Action, and Tribes : Vengeance. The software is a culmination of various agreements between HIS and bundling vendors, and it's pleasing to see such a reasonable software bundle on what is a budget card.

Hardware-wise, HIS ships in HDTV leads, a composite adapter, and a 6-foot S-Video cable. The ubiquitous DVI dongle is present, as well.

HIS supplies this card with a 2-year warranty that's handled by the supplier, and the warranty is transferrable should you wish to part with it before it's expired.
