It's still hard to fathom why the FX 5600 Ultra does so badly here.
The REDai keeps its nose almost 10% in front of the standard clocked Tyan Radeon 9600 Pro. The underfed Hercules 9600 (non-Pro) is the runt of this litter.
The tables are turned at 1600x1200x32. We wouldn't recommend placing any midrange card under these harsh settings.
