3DMark is the latest version of this hugely-popular synthetic benchmark. Making use of DX11 features such as tessellation, compute shaders and multi-threading, it provides modern-day results and is available as a free download.

Zotac's AMP! Edition card pulls out ahead of the Palit JetStream right from the off. Can the out-the-box memory overclock really make a visible difference? We were expecting to see both cards a bit closer together in terms of 3DMark results, and on further examination it seems there's more than just memory speed coming into play.

During testing, we found that Palit's card boosted to an average core speed of 1,255MHz. Zotac's AMP! Edition went a step further and was found to be running consistently at 1,280MHz throughout most of our benchmarks.
