Drivers

The drivers received with the card were almost identical to the Xabre 400’s, so you may be wondering why I have even added this section. Well I did say almost, the actual drivers as shown previously were identical, but also installed along with the normal graphics drivers was an additional utility called 3d Wizard.

Now this added something missing from the previous driver releases, you now have performance options for Direct 3D and OpenGL and even more so the addition of an over clocking feature.

Here is the over clocking tool, very simple but fulfils its intended task.

The Direct 3D and OpenGL options tab, very limited options but at least it is a start and what is there is functional. It may not be as developed as NVidia or ATI’s but it is certainly a good start and will make the Xabre a much more flexible card because of it.
