Noise

There's no point in showing percentages for the noise output; the scale is logarithmic, not linear.

The GTX 590 is definitely a quieter card than the Radeon HD 6990, perhaps more so than the numbers suggest - the pitch of the fan isn't as annoying as AMD's.

But as we've seen in the performance graphs, NVIDIA gives away a heap of performance in order to win out here.
