Sapphire Radeon HD 5570 1,024MB

And here is an AIB model from the folks at Sapphire.

The PCB is practically identical to the reference card's, apart from the colour, but the cooler is different. The same-sized fan is positioned closer to the underlying GPU, blowing the air out of both the front and the back rather than upwards. It uses cheaper aluminium instead of copper, however.

Similarities extend to the 1,024MB of GDDR3-1,800MHz memory, though. The card uses the same Samsung K4W1G1646E-HC11 chips found on the HD 5450 GPU. Four of the eight 1Gb modules are located on the back. The top-sided chips aren't in contact with the heatsink-and-fan unit.

This particular card will cost around £65, we've been informed, but Sapphire will also sell a cheaper model for the APAC region that'll have slower clock-speeds - Radeon HD 5550, anyone?

Much like the reference cooler, Sapphire's is a noisier than expected when under load.

Here's a difference. Sapphire goes for DisplayPort instead of HDMI. The card is generic from a performance viewpoint, clocking in at 650MHz engine and 1,800MHz memory. Let's now see how it performs in relation to a Radeon HD 4670, HD 5670, GeForce GT 220, and GT 240.
