Pushing our cards a little bit harder, Ubisoft's Far Cry 2 gives the GeForce GTX 260 OC an average performance advantage of eight frames per second over the Radeon HD 4870 1GB.

We're seeing a familiar trend, however. For an additional £5, the Radeon HD 4850 X2 can offer up to a 24 per cent performance increase over the GeForce GTX 260 OC.
