Notes

SC in the tables stands for single-core, DC stands for dual-core. Comparison systems and results are provided by the HEXUS.core article on Intel Pentium Extreme Edition 955, here. The mismatch of mainboards on the AMD side of things means taking that into account when comparing results.

While we're confident that the performance of the two mainboards don't have any significant performance delta, based on benchmarking an Athlon 64 X2 4800+ on the DFI, it's worth noting. As mentioned on the previous page, we don't install processor driver or hotfix for benchmarking.

For all the graphs, the order from left-to-right is always as follows, just incase the colours or fonts are hard to make out on your monitor:

Athlon 64 FX-60
Athlon 64 FX-57
Athlon 64 X2 4800+
Athlon 64 4000+
Intel XE 955
Intel XE 840
Intel XE 3.73GHz
Intel Pentium 4 670
