MSI K9A2 Platinum bundle, presentation and warranty

More stickers than you can shake a stick at! We wonder what the FSB1333 is reference to, though - after all, AMD's Athlon CPUs don't feature a traditional front-side bus.

Items User manual
Drivers and utilities CD for Windows XP containing drivers for motherboard devices, MSI Live Update 3, MSI Dual Core Center and MSI Security Suite. MSI PasswordKeeper, MSI SecureDoc, and MSI Lockbox
Drivers for Windows Vista, identical to XP's save for no MSI Security Suite
1x 80-conductor flat IDE cable and 1x 34-conductor flat FDD cable (red, MSI-branded), 4x non-latching-style SATA data cables, 2x Molex-SATA power adapter cables - single-ended
ATX I/O shield
FireWire expansion bracket with one six-pin 1394a port.
MSI M-Connector for USB, FireWire, Audio + ATX P8 (not shown).
2x flexible CrossFire bridges

The bundle - software, cables and documentation - is good but we'd have liked to have seen a couple of right-angled SATA cables included in the box.

Warranty

MSI provides a two-year warranty on its motherboards that begins on the date of the customer's invoice. The warranty is transferable, should the board be sold on, and it's up to the reseller to ensure a speedy turnaround.

MSI also states that support can be provided directly should the supplier cease trading.

We've reiterated this ad nauseam but please buy from a reseller that you trust - the quality and worth of the warranty are inextricably linked to the retailer. trust.HEXUS.net is the place for you to get a feel for how others have rated their buying experience of UK retailers.
