After the artwork mishap - where Microsoft inadvertently confirmed Fable III for PC with that pesky "Only on" stamp - the publisher has officially announced that Fable III will appear on Windows. Games for Windows Live specifically and only available via its Games on Demand service.

Microsoft has also uncovered plans for Fable III's Limited Edition, which carries a RRP of £59.99 - note: that's RRP, not retail price, which will probably be closer to the £50 mark.

The contents of said Limited Edition seems like a must-have for fans of the Fable series, offering an entire array of goodies to use in-game; including a DLC quest, an exclusive location, a unique outfit, a breed of Boxer dog and more.

The full contents is as follows:

* A new quest: Uncover the mystery of the haunted forests of Silverpines and earn the legendary sword, Wolfsbane, deadly against wolves and balverines.

* Exclusive location: Unlock a new region, ideal for settling down with a family and discovering new treasures.

* “Fable III” playing cards: Created by Lionhead, these cards depict every type of character in “Fable III,” including Heroes, royals, rebels and villains from across Albion and beyond.

* Guild Seal Coin: The coin features a Good side (blue) and Evil side (red) to assist players in making critical decisions that will impact the fate of the world forever.

* A new dog breed: Renowned for its loyalty, the Boxer is a brave canine companion worthy of greatest Queens and Kings.

* One unique outfit: Unearth one male and female outfit from the mysterious, faraway land of Aurora, a new destination in your “Fable III” adventures.

Fable III is set to hit this Christmas.

Does this mean that natal will be compatible with pc as well then?
I think it means Natal will not be essential to play Fable III. I'm sure as hell not buying new hardware just so that I can jump around like a lunatic in front of my TV. Been there with a Wii, got bored, sold it.
Its not essential but its supposed to add quite a lot to it. But then that is Peter moleneouaieoaoooaax

You can probably use it to pretend stroke your pet, increasing its happiness and making it smile at you or similar.
