It's not just about cars....

But it isn’t just about cars… perhaps there’s a river running alongside the road… so leap from your car into a passing speedboat and back again if you fancy… or maybe onto a motorbike… and the options for car control aren’t just limited to you and the bad guys cars either. Even the innocent motorists just out for a Sunday drive are fair game when it comes to commandeering their cars… although you won’t get any weapons and the cars a pretty weak, but still, if you’re in a tight spot, bailing from your flagging, flaming motor might be a good idea!

Now is all that road based action isn’t enough, Pursuit Force has another trick up its sleeve, the helicopter based blast frenzy where you’ll man the door mounted gatling gun of the local police chopper and wreak havoc from above. In the sections the game works much like Operation Wolf with the chopper moving along a set path, but again as much variety as possible had been crammed in with you either protecting a particular vehicle from bad guys, wiping out a nest of the evils ones or perhaps clearing the area of baddies so the chopper can drop you in.

Of course, once the heli has dropped you in, you’ll be car-less… and here’s where Pursuit Force’s third person shooter mode kicks in. You can duck and jump your way through a load of third person action, taking out the perps with the same range of weaponry you get when you’re driving, before then heading off in another car to the next section. So that’s cars, boats, heli’s, vans, busses, lorries, motorbikes and good old feet covered as possible modes of transport… in fact, there’s over 50 different vehicle to cruise about it and 25 different weapons to do the damage with!
