Looks like it could well be the game the last one should have been.

They've put 3 times more stuff in and now a skirmish mode :)

battlestations midway.
buggy, dumbed down for console, undersupported, historically inaccurate, shallow, cheating AI, rushed but late at the same time.

so depressing, as id been following the game since the first tech demo a looong time ago. and to see it turn into that arcade shooter in a frock was pathetic.

quote myself from the thread “Most disappointing game?” methinks. skirmish is a start, but so much of the underlying game is going to have to change. and i cant see it happening. it will be BSM:1.5 and i believe “Once bitten, twice shy” is appropriate

Indeed, I really wasnt impressed by the first game which should have been far better then the frustrating experience it actually was.
The last one was indeed, badly thought out, unsupported, rushed(and very late) and a genrally poor and all to breif experience.

The initial info on this game does look like a complete turnaround though with twice as much in campain mode and skirmish, but as maddock said “Once bitten, twice shy”.

I'm not counting any chickens yet though, and i'll be reading a number of reviews to make sure this game has some substance to it before i'll buy. But it's certainly a game i'll be keeping a very close eye on.
