Intro & Design

HEXUS.CEBIT While others from HEXUS were running round the miles and miles of CeBIT walkways, I perched my behind down in the Sony Ericsson press centre and managed to have a chat with people in the know about the new phones coming to market in the next six months.

One of the most eagerly awaited handsets is the K800i, the successor to the very popular K750i that helped rejuvenate Sony Ericsson’s fortunes last year.

We managed to get some time with one of the product managers for the K800i at CeBIT and he gave us a brief look at what there is to look forward to with the handset due in Q2, 2006.

Sleek Design – Better build

The first thing about the K800i is its very noticeable quality feel - the K750i was an improvement over past handsets but there's no doubt that even more thought has gone into the K800i and the sort of environment its going to have to survive.
