Windows 10 users in the UK can access exclusive collection of programmes on BBC Store by simply downloading the app and registering for BBC Store
Monday 9th November - Microsoft are the marketing launch partner for new digital service BBC Store. The two companies have joined forces to bring audiences The Fast Show at 21: An Evening With Paul Whitehouse and Charlie Higson. Windows 10 users also get an exclusive BBC Store app.
BBC Store makes it easy for UK audiences to buy and keep digital copies of their favourite BBC shows including recently broadcast programmes; television favourites and lost gems from the BBC archive.
Comprising over 7,000 hours of the very best BBC drama, comedy, entertainment and documentaries from programmes past and present, BBC Store is the most comprehensive collection of BBC programmes ever made available to buy.
Using the BBC Store app Windows 10 users will be able to browse, stream and download the programmes they’ve bought on BBC Store to watch wherever and whenever they choose on their laptop, tablet or mobile.
They’ll also have exclusive access to a digital box set of the hit BBC Two comedy The Fast Show, created by and starring Paul Whitehouse and Charlie Higson. The collection, chosen by Paul and Charlie, includes The Fast Show at 21 in which writer and presenter Danny Wallace interviews Paul and Charlie in front of a live audience about the creation and runaway success of one of British comedy’s best-loved sketch shows. Once they’ve downloaded the app Windows 10 users will be sent a link to a page on BBC Store from which they’ll be able to buy the exclusive Fast Show package.
The Fast Show at 21 will also be available to all BBC Store customers from midday to midnight GMT on Sunday 15th November on You Tube and BBC Store.
The Windows 10 BBC Store app delivers a uniform user experience across mobile phones, tablets and PCs.
