Target Components has signed an agreement with memory specialist GeIL to become exclusive UK distributor.
GeIL's appointment is the latest in the distributor's vendor acquisitions following the recent appointments of KFA2, Antec and Aerocool, and comes as part of a strategic review of Target's vendor partners.
"We only support brands that make a positive contribution to our customers' success" explains Target MD Paul Cubbage, "That means supporting independent resellers and creating genuine opportunities for our customers. We believe GeIL tick both boxes, and with a worldwide reputation for top quality memory products we're excited to have them on board"
Established in 1993, GeIL is a leading global PC components and peripherals manufacturer, with emphasis on innovation - from memory modules and power supply units to gaming peripherals and accessories, aimed at PC enthusiasts worldwide.
The deal will also see Target introduce GeIL's new EpicGear gaming peripherals to the UK.
Target's Purchasing Manager, Kelly Coxon, said: "GeIL is a globally-recognized brand, has a dedicated following, and earns fantastic product reviews. We're excited about GeIL's reputation for high-quality products, particularly in high-end gaming with both memory products and gaming accessories, and most importantly we know it's a brand that will win new business for our customers."
The new GeIL memory range is now available exclusively from www.targetcomponents.co.uk.
